Marvel confirms Benedict Cumberbatch, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Rachel McAdams as cast

The upcoming film will also star Chinwetel Ejiofor as Baron Mordo, Rachel McAdams as Michael Stuhlbarg, Tilda Swinton as The Ancient One.

Marvel's 'Doctor Strange'

Marvel Studios  has officially announced that production has commenced on the upcoming movie "Doctor Strange."

The studio also confirmed the film's cast which includes Benedict Cumberbatch in the lead role as Dr Strange.

The upcoming film will also star as Baron Mordo, Rachel McAdams as Michael Stuhlbarg, undefined

Other confirmed cast include undefined Scott Adkins and Amy Lamdecker.

Set to hit theatres November 4, 2016, "Doctor Strange" is scripted by Jon Spaihts, and directed by Scott Derrickson.

Synopsis.

"After his career is destroyed, a brilliant but arrogant surgeon gets a new lease on life when a sorcerer takes him under his wing and trains him to defend the world against evil."
