Show makes history, enters Guinness book of records

The record breaking HBO show has earned a spot in the Guinness book of records as the TV series shown in the most countries around the world, at the same time.

 

HBO's 'Game of Thrones' has earned a place in the 2016 Guinness Book of World Records as the 'Largest TV drama simulcast.'

This comes after the second episode of the fifth series was broadcast in 173 countries at the same time.

The show which is popular for its , beat previous holder, U.S. crime drama CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, to break this new record.

The award was collected by Maisie Williams, who plays Arya Stark on show;
