The Stay With Me singer, who has been recovering from throat surgery, told Capital FM he would not be recording the title track for Spectre, which opens in November.

This is following on from Gladys Knight's comments. Earlier the artiste had said shewould be happy to see Sam sing the next Bond song.

"People seem to think I'm doing it, but I have no idea what's going on," he told Breakfast Show hosts Dave Berry and Lisa Snowdon.

"I'm being deadly serious. I think I would know by now!" "I heard Ellie Goulding was going to do it... It's absolutely, definitely not me," he said.
"I'd love to do it," he added. "It would be a dream to do."
