5 reasons why we love Katawere

Ghanaian veteran actor, Ebenezer Donkoh popularly known in showbiz as Katawere has been reported dead.

The Efiewura actor had been sick for the past two (2) years. Katawere died on Monday, November 14, at the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital in Accra.

His death came as a shock because his sickness wasn’t made public.

Katawere has contributed immensely to the movie industry. His unique roles in award-winning Ghanaian movies and TV series have inspired many.

1. In "Efiewura"

Katawere is one of the lead characters in popular Ghanaian TV series “Efiewura”. It’s either he plays the role of a snitch or an adviser and we loved it.

2. Heaven Black Mosquito Coil TVC

He was a doctor in the popular TVC and we loved it.

3. His role in a popular local drama titled “Obra”

4. His role in another local drama titled “Cantata”

5. Criss Waddle’s “3shi Shi” music video

He made a cameo appearance in Criss Waddle’s popular “3shi Shi” music video. He played the role of a sexually fit old man and it was a lit!
