'Race' is an upcoming French-German-British-Canadian produced biographical sports-drama film directed by Stephen Hopkins and written by Joe Shrapnel and Anna Waterhouse.

It focuses on James Cleveland "Jesse" Owens was an American track and field athlete, who won four gold medals at the Nazi-run 1936 Berlin Summer Olympics.

The upcoming biopic will tell the story of how Owens overcame adversity to win four gold medals at the Nazi-run 1936 Berlin Summer Olympics.

Race is a film about the determination of one man to become an Olympic legend.

'Race' stars  William Hurt, Jeremy Irons, Jason Sudeikis, Carice van Houten and Stephan James as Owens.

'Race' is set to open in theaters on February 19, 2016.
