The DC (Dansoman) boy known as Samini was born Emmanuel Andrews Samini. Although not a Rastafarian, he prefers to keep dreads. He says it brings him closer to his African Roots. He made a strong comeback this year with his song titled ‘My Own’.

Stephanie Benson
The 50-year-old made waves this year when she released an explicit video with Samini. The music video is ‘One More’. In an interview, Stephanie admitted to kissing Samini on set to clam him down.
The controversial artist can't seem to get himself away from the limelight, dropping a hit banger with his boys Captan and Addi self ‘Taking Over’. He also took us by surprise when he dropped a hit song with his wife Shatta Michy, titled ‘Low Tempo’. Looks like the couple is headed for the Jayz-Beyounce duo lookalike.

The dancehall artist born as Livingstone Etse Satekla made waves this year when he announced his marriage with Dr. Louisa Ansong. The uproar was centered on surprise and speculation as to why he chose a dentist instead of a woman in his music industry.
