This is the amount artiste spent on winning VGMAs "Hiplife Song of the Year" award

Atom has disclosed the amount he spent on winning the "Hiplife Song of the Year" award at the just ended Vodafone Ghana Music Awards.

Speaking on Pluzz FM, the "Y3 Wo Kurom" hitmaker revealed that he filed for 'three categories and God's willing' he was nominated.

“I entered for three categories and God willing I got all three. New Artist of the Year, Hiplife Song of the Year and Most Popular song of the Year and the song was popular enough to be in these categories," Atom disclosed.

He also said he is 'very content' with the one award he got on the night. “I won Hiplife Song of Year and I was very content with what I got. After I was announced as the winner for the Hiplife Song of Year I had wanted to go home because I believe I had won enough," he said.

Speaking on how much he spent voting for himself, the singer/rapper said he spent GHC 3,000.

“Personally, I spent GHc 3000 for the Hiplife Song of the Year category.”

“I have two phones and so I loaded GHc 1500 Cedis on each and texted all the money,” he disclosed.

Atom got 69% of the total votes to win Hiplife Song of Year.
