The success of musicians may depend on the kind of producers they work with. Sarkodie's success over the past few years may be attributed to the kind of producers who helped engineer his albums.

Rapper Sarkodie has listed his top producers in the Music Industry that he always loves to work with. "These people (producers) , I don't joke with them; when they send me an email, I rush and check because it will be dope".

He named his top four producers in ascending order as Kaywa, Hammer of the Last 2, KillBeatz and Jayso.

Talking about his personal relationship with Hammer , "He said, I have two in the industry I actually do respect in the game, hammer and Dr. Duncan. I think the type of heart they have is rare to see in the industry, cos is a fake industry where people want to pretend to like you. Those are the two people that actually treated me like how people are treating me now.

Funny enough, because of how, they are not too money driven, they are not chasing anything. All they want to do is good music. If you study what Hammer is doing, he picks people, one at a time. Now he is promoting Tee Flow, he did Edem, Kwaw, Obrafour.

They have the passion and those people when you get close to them, it takes you back to that old passion that you had. They are not too much into this businesses. The main thing that gives you money is the passion. When you hang out with those people you get the main thing that gives you the money".

The Ghanaian music industry has grown very competitive over the years, with different musicians, sound engineers and producers competing for the same audience.
