Billboard Magazine names pop queen as the most defining artist of the 2010s

Influential music magazine hails Beyonce as the top singer of this decade to have impacted and influenced the music industry.

Queen Beyonce has been named by Billboard Magazine as the 'most defining artist of the 2010s'.

In the write-up, Mrs. Carter is described as "flawless", and "star that every other entity is forced to orbit." The feature also highlights revolutionizing album releases by dropping an album prior warning. The 'Beyonce' album is hailed as an instant classic that redefined her populist sound.

"Bey toppled the industry's plane by dropping an instant-classic full-length with no prior warning, selling hundreds of thousands of copies within less than a week, redefining her crowd-pleasing sound and putting out over a dozen visuals that kept our jaws squarely on the floor" wrote Jason Lipshutz and Elias Leight for Billboard.

Artistes such as Kanye West, Drake, Kendrick Lamar and Lady Gaga make up the list of "The 10 Defining Artists of the 2010s".
