Rock band reveals the concept behind their skeleton costume

In an exclusive interview with Pulse.com.gh, the Chief Priest of Dark Suburb group disclosed why they wear skeletal costume during stage performance.

Ghana’s first alternative rock band, Dark Suburb, has expressed their disappointment in satanic claims made by Prophet Daniel Larbi, the founder of House of God International Ministry and President of World Wide Council of Prophetic Alliance.

The Phrophet made an assertion earlier today (April 29) about the rock group saying, “the cover story of the group, their costume, ideology and their stage act invoke demons” and also emphasized on the fact that skeletal materials are demonic.

In an exclusive interview with Pulse.com.gh, the Chief Priest of the band disclosed why they wear skeletal costume during stage performance.

According to him, every human on earth has skeleton which is the framework of the body. The use of skeleton in their artworks and performances don’t have any association with spiritism or satanic deeds but rather to educate their listeners about the connection between the dead and the living.

“Why is the band members dressed in skeletons? It’s because of our concept...We think that if you strip off everyone of their skin, everyone is skeleton.

“So there is no need for racism, homophobia, xenophobia and all those little things that serve as a point of discrimination for us. That’s why the band is ideally made of skeletons be we believe in the essence of humanity.

“Everybody has a skeleton so we don’t know if that is demonic...then it means everybody is demonic” he concluded

He also revealed that, they are going to use their music and artistic work to support the needy and underprivileged in society so live band music lovers should watch out for more from the group.

“In our society, there are so many people who appear dead to us – they are the underprivileged...The beggars, the children on the streets, the needy, etc. They are there, they are existing but the dead to us. So the band is in honour of the underprivileged in our society” he said.
