An application for Interim injunction against the scheduled Ghamro elections coming off tomorrow have been dismissed at High Court today, February 10 after hearing presided by His Lordship Judge Anthony Oppong. The applicants, Gyedu Bay Ambulley, C.K. Morrison and Ama Afriyie were in court with their Lawyer B. Eshun to seek for an ex parte Interim injunction to restrain Ghamro and it's Receiver Managers from conducting the elections citing late notice of polls and expiration of time as their reasons for the action.

Application for Interim injunction against the scheduled Ghamro elections coming off tomorrow have been dismissed by an Acrra High Court, allowing the elections to be held.

In another development, Ama Afriyie who was a plaintiff in the matter was picked up at the Court premises by the ministries Police for allegedly removing posters of contestants for the GHAMRO elections at the GHAMRO offices on two occasions. She is currently been detained by the police.
