Ghanaian Project Fame West Africa runner-up, Christian Kwabena Amoah alias Krissy O has turned on a new chapter, following his success on the reality TV show by signing onto Nigerian label, Besspoke Entertainment. Krissy O is no stranger to reality TV shows; he first gained public attention in Ghana on the fourth season of TV3’s singing competition, ‘Mentor’ in 2008. In 2012 he also won second position on in Vodafone Icons (Mixed Edition), with his group, Vybz.

With his new deal on Bespoke Entertainment, Krissy O hopes to covert his reality TV fame into career success as a musician. The talented singer has thus, relocated to Nigeria, where he has been recording towards his debut album. He is however currently in Ghana to promote his new singles, ‘Bum Short’ and ‘Jogodo’ which are doing very well already in Nigeria.

In an interview with Krissy O, he hinted that he is will be working on some collaborations while in Ghana. The ‘Jogodo’ singer disclosed that he is working on a lot of collaborations with some of the big names in Nigeria, Ghana and even international. Though he did not disclose the names of the international artist he would be collaborating with, he hinted that he will be collaborating with Ghanaian musicians D-Black, Jupitar, and probably rapper Sarkodie and Nigerian dancehall artist, Patoranking and many others for his album.

Krissy O added that though he is working on collaborations with all these names; his main focus is to promote his brand. “The focus right now is to try as much as possible to push the brand that we are trying to project  out there, so that it will even make things much more easier for us”, he said.

Touching on the issue of moving permanently to Nigeria to work with Bespoke Entertainment, Krissy O said it was one of the best decisions he has ever made as they received him very well. “It takes somebody as crazy as I am to be able to move from your country to another man’s country to try and make it with your career. But music doesn’t have boundaries and Bespoke is like a family now. They’ve just taken me in and they are taking care of everything that has to do with me; and it is amazing,” he explained.

“If I got a record label in Ghana who knows, I would have remained in Ghana. But you weigh it and you realize that it is a bigger opportunity for me to go to Nigeria and sign to Bespoke. It’s taking me places”, he added.

He described Bespoke Entertainment as a huge entertainment company with various interests in artist management, events, movies and more. Krissy O hinted that he is the only artist signed on the record label. To conclude, Krissy O urged his fans and friends to expect nothing but the best as he prepares to take Ghanaian music to Africa and the world.
