Embattled Hiplife Artiste Takes On GHAMRO, Blasts Them Over Unpaid Royalties

Embattled Hiplife artiste, Kwaw Kese claims he has never received any royalties from GHAMRO.

Kwaw Kese has spoken for the second time after he was granted bail by a Kumasi circuit court over weed smoking allegations held against him three months ago. This time, he takes on GHAMRO over unpaid royalties while speaking on Entertainment Review show on Peace FM last weekend.

Angered Kwaw Kese added his voice to the music royalties dispute after some members of the Carlos Sakyi-led Ghana Music Rights Organization (GHAMRO) board were accused of mismanaging GHȼ1 million funds by the union and apparently, some former members arrested over the weekend for besieging the union's office.

According to "The man insane", GHAMRO has never paid him any royalties since his breakthrough in the music industry and therefore believes, dissolving the music right organization could be the solution to disputes over royalties.
