Fante rapper dedicates latest album to late manager, Fennec Okyere

Fennec Okyere, was found dead at his Manet Gardens residence on March 13, 2014.

Kwaw Kese's album signing comes off on March 12, 2016

According to him, the sixth album which comprises of songs recorded from 2012 shows the work Fennec Okyere did while managing him, adding that Fennec’s legacy will live forever.

Kwaw Kese added that the album was supposed to be released in December 2014 but was suspended following his arrest and subsequent trial for smoking cannabis.

“The album has songs we did from 2012 to date. We selected twenty from the lot for the fans. The album is the biggest album to come out of Ghana for a long time. It’s historic,” he said on Hitz FM’s Daybreak Hitz with KMJ on Wednesday.

“I chose ‘Forever’ because I feel we have been in the game for a long time and that means we are not quitting. Also, the album is dedicated to my late manager, Fennec Okyere which means Fennec’s legacy will live forever,” Kwaw Kese added.

The Fante rapper has called on his fans and music lovers to come support him.

“I’m pleading with the fans that I cannot do that alone. They should come support me so we honour my late manager,” he indicated.

Fennec Okyere, was found dead at his Manet Gardens residence on March 13, 2014. According to reports, he was stabbed by some unknown assailant(s).

The album signing is slated for March 12 at Silverbird Cinema Foyer, Weija at 11am.
