The Asante Bekwai-native who has been endorsed by BET Award-winning rapper Sarkodie is poised to make his presence count this year.
According to his management, he featured Sarkodie on three separate records – the first in history. (The last time Sarkodie did something close was with Kurl Songx – which are just two features).
The three songs are reportedly ready and will be released in a few weeks.
Even though the title of the songs and genres were not revealed, Kweku Smoke’s management thinks it’s right to keep it under the carpet because they are mind-blowing joints.
"Music has always been part of me...I grew up learning music from my senior brother who was living with my dad in Accra,” Kweku Smoke tells how he was linked to music. “I used to watch him rap to songs and I learnt it watching him do that anytime we are on vacation and I visit them in Accra.”
Kweku Smoke says he is inspired by Obrafour (Rap Sofour) and VIP (now VVIP).
He said he started his career back in high school and used to run away from class just to record new songs.
