“Ghanaian gospel musicians are hypocrites” - singer

MzVee has said Gospel musicians in the country as hypocrites who think the constituents of a Gospel music must only be about quoting verses from the bible.

Speaking in an interview with Accra-based Hitz FM she indicated that Ghanaian gospel musicians have a preconceived notion that a musician who centres his or her songs on love and other social issues are advocates of the devil: an observation she sees as hypocritical.

The “Natural Girl” hitmaker believes that secular artistes are not devilish rather they are contributing using their innate abilities to also help in the Kingdom business.

She further opined that a number of her songs encourages people and inspires change in society and that is also her contribution to the Kingdom business.

“I have so many of my fans who message me and they actually pray for me and this is the nicest part of what I do. People are so emotional about some of my songs and they always tell in messages how I inspire them with my songs and how their lives are changed by a certain message in my songs. And it doesn’t have to be some type of gospel song that people want to hear before they say it’s a Christian song,” she said.
