R&B singer says he would like to work with Sam Smith, Adele

He also spoke that he has been in touch with another UK artiste Ed Sheeran about a possible collaboration.

Award winning singer and songwriter Ne-Yo has expressed his wish to work with singer Sam Smith and Adele.

"[I'm] loving what's going on with Sam Smith right now. Waiting for Adele to come back. I heard she's about to get into the studio. I'd love to get in and do some stuff with her" told the 35 year old star to ET Online, yesterday, March 25, 2015.

He also spoke that he has been in touch with another UK artiste for a possible collaboration. The singer is none other than Ed Sheeran.

Ne-Yo also spoke on why it seems the British acts seems to be having an upper hand in the global music industry. "It seems like over there the focus is on the music and the artistry," he explained. "Whereas [in America] we kind of get caught up more a little bit in the controversy, the scandal, the back story, the imaging and all of that" he said.
