Do not create enmity between Flowking Stone and Sarkodie

Hiplife artiste, Okyeame Kwame has urged fans of Sarkodie and Flowking Stone to stop comparing the prowess of the two on the remix of ‘Fire Bon Dem’.

Since the song was released, music lovers have been arguing on various social media platforms over whose performance was better than the other.

Okyeame Kwame opines that the purpose of the song will not be achieved should the act continue. According to him, most of the comments by fans seem to be abusing either Flowking or Sarkodie and that can create enmity between the two.

“Stone and Sarkodie showed love for each other by collaborating on the song. So I think we should focus on the purpose of the song than comparing the two. The new paradigm for business in the world is not competition; it’s all about collaboration. Businesses are working hand-in-hand so if we compete among ourselves instead of collaborating, we will never progress. It is important we support these young men to grow,” he said on Hitz FM’s Daybreak Hitz on Wednesday.

Asked if the debate over who excelled better on the song is not healthy, Okyeame Kwame said it is, on condition that one will only express one’s opinion.

“There are verbal abuse everywhere. More than 60% of the tweets are abuses. Someone marked the two in terms of delivery, punchlines and the likes. And posted on social media. That is healthy; but when it ends in verbal abuse, that is where the challenge is. Let’s behave like people who want the song to grow. It is only possible through positivity,” he noted.
