Years after working for many musicians in Ghana, music producer, Justice Oteng known in showbiz Circles as Wei Ye Oteng has for the first time signed a youngster, Yaw Frilla unto his Drum Lyne Entertainment record label.

The talent of Yaw Frilla and the chemistry between him and Oteng were just enough to convince the Drum Lyne Studio boss to have a formal working relationship with him.

“Yaw Frilla is a definition of me and my ideology about musicianship. You should see us work. It’s more of a husband and wife thing. He understands me; I understand him perfectly. We both teach each other to attain the height we all want to be,” Oteng noted.

The artiste has subsequently released two songs to announce his presence in the music world.

The songs My Baby Jinkololo and Adoley [featuring Epixode] released concurrently on Thursday under Drum Lyne Entertainment and Blue Kiss Music were produced by Wei Ye Oteng.

While Frilla professes his love for a lady in Adoley, My Baby Jinkololo seeks to entreat the broken-hearted that they can fall in love again. My Baby Jinkololo revolves around lovers who many doubted the lasting of their relationship but soared as they never gave up.

Few hours after their release, the songs have been greeted with positive reviews from musicians, sound engineers, producers and music enthusiasts for their richness.

Gentle looking Yaw Frilla is an afro musician from Kumasi but has lived all his life in Accra.

Explaining the rationale behind his name, the artiste indicated that he was named so by his friends who described him as one full of wild frills any time he exhibited his music prowess.

His interest in music developed at a tender age and has held on to his quest of letting the world know about his craft.

Frilla, also an instrumentalist is of the greatest conviction that his songs will break boundaries and cement his name in the music industry.
