Gospel Singer Says ‘Go High’ Hit Song Was A Prophecy From God

Popular Ghanaian Gospel singer, Philip Baafi says her hit single "Go High" was a prophecy from God

Gospel music icon, Philipa Baafi, has revealed on Accra-based Atinka FM that her all-time hit song, ‘Go High’, was a prophecy from God, hence its massive success.

According to her, she was not too surprised about the huge success of the song because it was prophecy fulfilled.“I was worshipping one day when God gave me the song and God specifically said He would make an organisation buy the song and make it a big hit,” the gospel queen revealed.

The song, which was a massive hit in the year 2007 was bought by the then ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) and subsequently used as campaign song in the 2008 elections.Speaking on Atinka FM’s mid-morning show on Tuesday, the gospel icon disclosed that when the revelation came, she thought it was one of the telecom companies that would show interest in the song, “but it turned out that, the prophecy was directed at the NPP.”Asked by the host if she would sell any of her songs when a political party requests for it again, the beautiful singer said she would pray for God’s direction.
