Edem announces new album "The African Answer"

He divulged that the album is being worked on by Ghanaian-born, New York-based producer Eric ‘Coptic’ Matlock.

The "Nyedzilo" hitmaker made the announcement on Pulse TV during the "Pulse Chats" show.

He revealed that, the album will be ready and launched this year. "We will be realising a new album called 'The African Answer' this year," he said.

He divulged that, the album is being worked on by Ghanaian-born, New York-based producer Eric ‘Coptic’ Matlock.

"I recorded predominantly with Coptic in the United States. The reason being that, I always want to try a new thing. I am never scared to try a new thing."

He added: "We want to be more assertive in 2017 unlike 2017."

Edem has released 4 successful studio albums. They include "Bougez", "The Volta Regime" (2009), "Mass Production" (2011), and "Books and Rhymes" (2014).
