Obour wins MUSIGA presidency again

Obour polled 88 votes to beat his contenders Gyedu Blay Ambulley and Appiah Dankwa (Appietus) who polled 22 and 18 votes respectively.

Delegates converged at the Eastern Regional capital, Koforidua on Saturday to elect executives who will steer the affairs of the union for the next four years.

During the campaign period, Obour said he deserved a second term because his administration had chalked a number of successes. Ambulley and Appietus on the other hand discredited him saying, he is not worthy of a re-election as he had let the union down.
