Ice Prince, Sarkodie, D'banj, Victoria Kimani to attend music festival

Four of the biggest music stars in Africa will be attending the yearly interactive series of conferences and festivals.

African music stars Ice Prince, Sarkodie, D'banj, and Victoria Kimani will be attending this year's edition of SXSW on Friday, March 20, 2015.

The music celebs will take part in 'Meet Africa's Leading Musicians' discussion. According to the schedule it is a "conversation with 5 of Africa’s prominent artists in this insightful and lively interview led by discussing their come up and their unique views on the booming African music industry."

Leslie Kasumba is an African music executive and curator. The event will take place at the Austin Convention Center.

SXSW (pronounced South by South West) is a set of film, interactive, and music festivals and conferences held annually in Austin, Texas. It was founded in 1987.
