President John Dramani Mahama has revealed his passion for all music genres across the world in his recent interview with RFI English Service's Paris Live PM.

Answering question on what can be found on his iPod, President Mahama said "You will find songs from all over the world. I like Latin America music. You will find Hip-hop, Highlife, etc on my iPod when you open it".

He added that Julio Iglesias, Marvin Gaye, Fella Kuti, Isaac Hayes, Biggie, Millie Jackson, amongst others are some of his favourite acts.

He finally revealed that he has five iPods full of both old and new tunes he downloads from online music store and streaming platform iTunes.

President Mahama is known for his passion for Ghanaian music and musicians. In a recent interview with Uniiq FM, he revealed he loves both old and new acts including their songs.

He said “I like a lot of the old artistes. Of course Kojo Antwi continues to be my favourite. I like Gyedu Blay-Ambolley, KK Kabobo. I like the young ones too. I listen to some of the old young ones like Shasha Marley, Wutah, VIP. But recently I listen to Stonebwoy, I think he’s got a good hit with Sheekena and Baafira. That’s also a good one. I like Ghanaian music so I listen to most our artistes.”
