Preacher claims Shatta Wale’s songs are better than most Gospel songs
Reverend Obofuor has said songs performed by Dancehall musician Shatta Wale are better than most Gospel songs.

According to the controversial pastor, Shatta Wale’s songs have better content hence rating them over most mainstream Gospel songs.
Obofuor, who is known for performing secular songs in his church including records from Shatta Wale, claims the Zylofon Music label signee is ‘the nation’s preacher because he touches on relevant issues that gospel artistes don’t tackle’.

He said the content of most Gospel songs are jaded, adding that he needs songs that will make him dance; songs that will help his congregation burn calories, so they don’t get knocked down by stroke.
“Who is a gospel artiste? The message in the song is the most important thing. Dances performed in the clubs are also right here in church,” he said as quoted by Citi FM.
“Is Shatta Wale not a human being? Those who call themselves gospel musicians are engaging in sexual immorality,” he added.
