South African pastor cause controversy with his hot water miracle

Another South African pastor has claimed that God told him to pour hot water on his members and they would not get burnt.

According to Pastor Thamsanqa Sambulo, the 23-year-old General Overseer of Thy Word Kingdom Harvest Ministries, who is now being referred to as the ,  God commanded him to pour the hot water on himself and his members and that none of them would be burnt.

Posting on the church's Facebook page, the Pietermaritzburg pastor says he performed the miracle as an apostle of God, telling the story of Pastor Sambulo’s 'miracle'. According to the post, one evening during a church gathering, Sambulo asked a member of his church to 'go boil water in a kettle at the kitchen.'

The post went further:

"The congregation was in shock, as they shouted: 'NO!' Some couldn't even look.

He then asked: 'Who has faith here?'  One by one, people came and did what the apostle did, and were not hurt. He re-boiled the water... as he did...one young woman came to him and said; ‘Papa I have faith, pour it on my hand as hot as it is.’

The Son of God first poured on Himself, then poured unto this lady. The rest of the congregation, one by one followed, as they also wanted to test their faith.”

Also writing on the page, Pastor Sambulo who declined requests by journalists for an interview, said:

“Let them come and see, I don't do interviews. Information/words cannot explain this. Come and experience it for yourself!"
