Man Killed His Own Father Over Property

A palm wine tapper, who couldnt wait for his father to die to inherit his property, has sent his father to his early grave

A 30-year-old palm wine tapper, is said to have attacked and killed his 58-year-old father over his share of  inheritance.

The unfortunate incident occurred on Tuesday morning at Denkyira Asikuma in the Central Region, Solar FM reports.

The palm wine tapper called Coffie asked his father, Kojo Dede to share his property and give him his portion but he (father) declined.

This went on for a while until he became tired of asking and attacked his father with a hoe, allegedly killing him in the process.

According to the reports, Coffie is the first son of the first wife of Kojo Dede.

Kojo Dede was married to three wives and they all have children for him.

Due to the number of children he has, Kojo Dede asked his son to be patient but he couldn't.

Meanwhile, Police and some residents have launched a manhunt for Coffie who has gone into hiding after the incident.
