2 suicide bombers attack leprosy hospital

The attackers, a male and a female, reportedly sneaked into the town from Sambisa forest, a notorious Boko Haram stronghold.

 

Two suicide bombers, on Wednesday, July 1, 2015, blew themselves up at the Molai Leprosy Hospital in Borno State, according to reports.

The attackers, a male and a female, reportedly sneaked into the town from Sambisa forest, a notorious Boko Haram stronghold.

The bombers were however said to have detonated their explosives prematurely and as a result were the only victims of the blast.

The attack was confirmed by local vigilante, Modu Abba who said that two people were left injured in the incident.

Molai is 10 kilometres to the south of Maiduguri, the Borno State capital.
