He added that his wife used to destroy his property at every slightest disagreement and had taken her to court five times on this.
Ayokunle told the court that people in his residence had several times told him how some men were allegedly visiting his wife whenever he was not at home.
He alleged that his wife had in the past solicited his cooperation to spend monies she was collecting from her male friends to cater for the needs of the family.
The plaintiff also told the court that his wife was fond of picking quarrels with him anytime matters of feeding allowance came up.
On the five different times, my wife was made to swear to an affidavit that she would be of good behaviour, he said.
The respondent, however, denied all the allegations leveled against her by her husband.
She told the court that she was not ready to leave her matrimonial home.
Folasade, however, informed the court that the bone of contention between them was that her husband had failed to perform his responsibility as the head of the family.
She alleged that it was their neighbours that sometimes fed them as well as paid the family’s last child’s school fees.
The President of the court, Mrs. Olayinka Falodun, in her ruling said that the welfare of the children was paramount to the court.
She said that single parenting was not the best and pleaded with both parties to look into the matter from different angles and agree on the way forward.
Falodun charged them to go back and come into common goal of peace and oneness.
She ordered that each of them must bring two witnesses to the court on Nov.11, the next date when she would continue with the hearing of the case
