A source reveals that the lady’s decision was premised on an allegation that the suspect often inserted her finger into the private part of her (Mabel’s) nine-year-old daughter and subjecting her to severe beatings.Aboakye was said to have taken offence in the separation and allegedly hired some people (who are currently on the run) to kill the lady, who hailed from Nungua, a suburb of Accra.

He was handed over to the Domestic Violence and Victim Support Unit (DOVVSU) of the Ghana Police Service on suspicion of kidnapping. He said during investigations, Benjamin sent the police to different locations, but Mabel was not found.
