The accused was said to have stolen the complainant’s laptop valued at N70,000, hand purse containing N2,500, and Tecno mobile phone valued at N19,000.

The prosecutor said all the stolen items were recovered from the accused except the money, which he said, he had spent.

He said the offence contravened Section 342 and 386 Penal Code.

The accused pleaded guilty to the offence and appealed for leniency, promising not to repeat the offence.
