Almost 400 students of Imo State Polytechnic, Umuagwo, have been expelled over examination and admissions malpractices.
According to reports, the student, Precious Nwadike, had on Monday 8 of June stormed the school with her mother and four elder siblings, three boys and a lady, to beat a teacher who had earlier sent her back home.
The teacher had ordered her to leave the school because she failed to cut her hair to school regulation.
Instead of complying, the family decided to beat the teacher who they ordered out of the staff room.
Precious's mother pummelled the teacher and asked her sons to cut off her hair.
A teacher who tried to intervene was also beaten up.
Luckily, a National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) member had alerted military officers who arrested the invaders on arrival.
Student Pulse gathered that all six family members are now in police custody.
