AMAA founder’s brother shot dead by robbers

Michael Anyiam-Osigwe was reportedly attacked by armed robbers on Saturday, November 29, along the Ore-Benin expressway.

The older brother of Peace Anyiam-Osigwe, the founder of the African Movie Academy Awards (AMAA), has reportedly been shot dead by armed robbers.

Michael Anyiam-Osigwe was reportedly attacked by armed robbers on Saturday, November 29, along the Ore-Benin expressway.

He was said to have been rescued alive but he unfortunately gave up the ghost in a hospital.

Before his death, Michael was the Coordinator of the Anyiam-Osigwe Group and Secretary to the Supervisory Board.
