Men Who Watch Adult Films Have Better 'Sex Lives’

Men who regularly watch pornography are less likely to suffer erectile problems, a new study suggests.

If you need an excuse to watch porn, here is enough reason to watch all the porn you want.

A study has claimed men with an X-rated video habit has better sex lives, apparently dispelling the myth that porn disengages people from real sex.

A research team at the University of California recruited 280 straight men in their early 20s and asked them meticulously to log the hours they spent watching porn over the course of a week and fill out questionnaires on sexual desire and activity.

And scientists found that not only did men with a filthy browser history not suffer from erectile dysfunction, but they in fact had more arousal than the men whose laptops stayed in their cases.

‘Sexual arousal responsivity may not be impaired by viewing more visual sexual stimuli (VSS) at home, as it actually was related to stronger desire and sexual arousal in two of the three relationships tested,’ wrote scientists in the Journal of Sexual Medicine.

‘This pattern suggests that those who view more VSS are likely to have a higher sexual drive.’

Researchers Nicole Prause and James Pfaus found that arousal was highest in men who watched more than two hours of porn per week.

Of course, the study may be a simple case of cause and effect being the wrong way round. Sex psychologists have noted that men with higher sex drives are more likely to watch more porn.
