Man Gets Shot In Foot After Argument Over Woman

A man was shot in the foot after getting into an argument with another man over a woman.

A man was shot in the foot after getting into an argument with another man over a woman, according to an arrest report.

Boynton Beach police said at about 10:30 p.m. on Feb. 28, the man, 27, was in a parked car in the 200 block of Northeast 11th Avenue with a woman.

Police said Billy Rollerson, 24, came up to the couple in a car and threatened the man. Rollerson then pulled out a gun, according to the report, but the man said he wasn't scared.

Rollerson drove off, but fired five shots into the car, one of which went through the car and hit the man's foot. He was transported to the hospital.

The woman involved said the two have been fighting over her for years, according to the report.

Rollerson was arrested on Thursday. He is charged with aggravated battery with a firearm, discharging a firearm from a vehicle and being a felon in possession of a firearm.

He is being held at the palm Beach County Jail on $70,000 bail.
