A dog has attacked a woman, sending her to her grave.

According to reports, the woman died at the Federal Medical Center, Owo, where she was rushed to after the rabid dog bit her and ind inflicted serious injuries on her.
The state Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), Wole Ogodo, who confirmed the incident, said the woman was rejected at five different hospitals before she was accepted at the FMC where she gave up the ghost.
Ogodo added that the owner of the dog, Olofingbasote Afolabi, had been arrested and was being detained at the State Department of Criminal Investigation.

“The matter was reported to Afolabi, the owner for the dog, but he did not take any action to treat the victim. So the victim was taken to five different hospitals before she died at the FMC.”
The police spokesman stated that the corpse had been deposited at a morgue, while investigation was ongoing.
