2 married men gang-rape 13-yr-old girl in Abuja

Two men who are married with grown up children, have been arrested and arraigned in court to abducting a 13-year-old girl and gang raping her repeatedly.

According to Daily Trust City News, David Sarki, a driver and Chidi Njoku, a businessman, committed the offence at Gishiri village, a suburb of Abuja, the Federal Capital Territory, when they abducted the girl and took her into an uncompleted building and took turns to forcefully have sexual intercourse with her, even raping her through the anus.

After her ordeal, the girl identified as Peace Chinedu, reported the matter to her mother who promptly lodged a complaint at the Mabushi Police Station, leading to the arrest of the vile men.

The victim told journalists that after her mother went out in the evening of the fateful day, Sarki and Njoku, who are their neighbours, stormed their house and lured her to the uncompleted building with the guise that they wanted to show her something.

According to her, she had refused to follow the men at first, but yielded after they pressured her to follow them to where her mother was, thinking something had happened to her mother.

She said:

“I thought they were taking me to see my mum because that was what they told me, but instead I was taken to an uncompleted building. When I asked them why they brought me there, Mr. David slapped me and asked me to remove my clothes.

I refused, but both men tore my clothes. They pushed me down and Mr. David Sarki raped me. I cried and pleaded to Mr. Njoku who was watching, to rescue me but he also removed his trousers and raped me.

When they finished, I felt so much pains and I she started begging them not to kill me because they were arguing whether to kill me or not so that I will not tell anyone.

They agreed not to kill me when I promised them I will not tell anybody. Then they took me home. When my mother came home and saw me bleeding and crying, I told her what happened and she took me to the police station.”

An officer at the Mabushi Police Station said the victim was so bruised and weak that she was immediately taken to the hospital where tests were carried out on her and the result showed that she had been severely defiled.

“There was blood and sperm stain on her panties with high degree of bruises in her private part.

The results of the test proved that the two men raped the accused. We instantly stormed the houses of the suspects who were all family men, but they ran away until the police received a tip-off and they were able to arrest them from their hideouts.”
