Hayley King, a 22-year-old was filmed spitting and spraying cleaning chemical into her roommates’ food. She faces up to 20 years behind bars for the crime if convicted.
Hayley King was filmed by her off-campus roommates spitting into and spraying Windex, a glass and hard-surface cleaner, into their food which they placed in a shared fridge, ABC News reports.
The roommates then reported the case to the police.
In the footage, King is seen checking the items in the refrigerator and later opening some to spit and spray the Windex.

According to an incident report quoted by NY Daily, King confessed to the acts when she was called to the police station.
She was then charged with unlawful, malicious tampering with human drug product or food.
The charge is a felony carrying a term of up to 20 years in prison, if convicted.
She has been granted bail.
