5-year-old forced to eat her own vomit

The Orlando girl told her father that she ate too much food at dinner one evening and threw up, and that Brisebois insisted she eat her own vomit.

A Florida man has been arrested after allegedly forcing his girlfriend’s 5-year-old daughter to eat her own vomit.

Todd Brisebois was charged with child abuse after the little girl also accused him of beating her with a rubber hose.

Brisebois, 28, was arrested Thursday after the young girl told her biological father about the abuse she has allegedly suffered.

When she protested about the vile taste, he ordered her to swallow it while threatening her with the hose, which he then used to beat her.

According to an arrest report, the girl claimed “Mr. Todd” would also wake her up in the middle of the night and make her do push-ups until her legs got sore.

The girl’s parents have shared custody, but she told police Brisebois punished her every night she stayed with her mom.

She also said he once pushed her face into her bed until she couldn't breathe and gave her two black eyes when he slammed a door in her face.

The girl told police she never talked to her mom about the incidents because she feared she wouldn't believe her.

The report states that the father tried several times to report the abuse to the Florida Department of Children and Families, but never got a response.

He then started videotaping his daughter talking about “Mr. Todd” and gave police copies after finding marks on her back last month.

A spokeswoman for the child-welfare agency confirmed they have an “ongoing involvement” with the family.

The unnamed mother claims that the allegations were invented so the girl's father could get full custody of her, according to the report.

Brisebois avoided detectives during their investigation and refused to meet, but was then arrested last week on a warrant.

Brisebois was released Friday from the Orange County Jail on bail and ordered not to have contact with the girl.
