A 20-year-old lady identified as Vera, has been arrested by the police in Lagos for setting up her best friend to be gang-raped by six men because of a misunderstanding they had, reports Vanguard.

A lady who lured her friend to be gang-raped by six men has been arrested in Lagos.

According to the report, the incident happened on Saturday, October 31, at Olaosebikan Street in Somolu area of state when the lady arranged with the men who are said to be cultists in the area and lured her friend to an apartment at Elewure’s House, around Bajulaiye Compound, where the men ambushed her and took turns to have sex with her at gun point.
It was gathered that one of the men had earlier asked the victim out but she refused and when she had a disagreement with her friend, she connived with the cultists and promised to lure the victim to their nest.
The suspected cultists, it was gathered, had accused the victim of accepting a member of a rival cult group as a lover and had vowed to deal with her.

One of the police officers handling the case at the Alade Police Division, said that after one of the suspects was arrested, he confessed that the said Vera was the one who lured her friend for them to rape because they had earlier had a quarrel and that she had confessed her part in the case.
“She said it was after an argument that she threatened to deal with the victim. A few days later, the victim was raped.
The victim will be invited where both of them will sit face-to-face, during the interrogation section.
We are also on the trail of the suspected rapists. Thereafter, they will all be charged to court. Currently, the victim is in good condition after undergoing treatment.”
