USA, Japan to battle on giant robot duel

Suidobashi has responded to the duel and are up for the challenge with the Kurata- 12 feet in height and 9,000 pounds in weight.

 

The United States of America and Japan are about to do battle.

Don't worry folks, this war has nothing to do with chemical warfare and atomic bombs.

The and the are about to take part in the world's first giant robot battle.

In late June, 2015 MegaBots, the makers of “America’s first fully functional giant piloted robot” published a YouTube video challenging Japanese giant robot makers Suidobashi to a duel. MegaBots have manufactured a 15-foot tall Mark II robot. Mark II weighs 12,000 pounds and needs two pilots to operate it. Mark II can shoot big paint cannonballs at over 100m/h.

Suidobashi has responded to the duel and are up for the challenge with the Kurata- 12 feet in height and 9,000 pounds in weight. It only takes one person to operate, and moves with four wheeled legs. Ammunition wise, it shoots bottle rockets and has BB gatling guns that are controlled by the pilot’s smile.
