I'm a beneficiary of NPP's Delta, Invisible Forces - John Boadu

The General Secretary of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), John Boadu, has stated that he is a beneficiary from the services of vigilante groups, the Delta Forces and Invisible Forces.

According to him, members of the vigilante groups are members of the party who only offer themselves to provide security.

The NPP scribe who appeared before the Justice Emile Short Commission on Monday, March 4, to testify admitted that the members of Invincible Forces, Bolga Bulldogs, Delta Force and Kandahar Boys are members of the NPP.

He added: "We as political parties, it will be out of place to provide security particularly if you have groups of people who outnumber the police at a particular place. We’ve had occasions where even voters queuing to vote are prevented from doing so and sometimes the police seem helpless."

"If you take the invisible forces, they are individual groups not an organ of the party who have sympathies for the NPP…I in person I am a beneficiary of these groupings," he said.
