Founded by Atlanta-based blogger Ashley Hesseltine and a group of her male friends, 'Bros Being Basic', was launched in 2014 and now boasts 280,000 followers.

The account shows guys posing for gym selfies, rocking facial mud masks in the bathtub, cuddling with their adorable pets, and imitating more 'basic' photos that some ladies regularly post.

It also parodies the way some women overuse - and incorrectly use - hashtags.
