Efya will headline the annual musical concert for the next three years before handing over, Pulse.com.gh can confirm.

The 4th edition of 'Girl Talk Concert' -- an exclusive musical concert for women, has successfully been launched. Palm Media, the organisers of the annual event at the press launch yesterday, November 17 at Surfline’s LTE Lounge in Osu unveiled Ghanaian Neo-Soul singer Efya as the headline act.

Efya took the baton from Becca who successfully headlined the concert for three years. The "Jorley" singer will also headline the annual musical concert for the next three years before handing over, Pulse.com.gh can confirm.

Efya, who was filled with joy after being announced the headliner of the event disclosed to the media that “It was a great feeling. This is girl talk you know? It is a good and great show. I watched it from when I was in the university and Becca used to headline it and she is an amazing person -- someone I look up to."

"Now I get to headline the show that I have honoured and looked up to so it is really a great feeling and I am excited about it. I cannot wait to show everybody how good is going to be like,” she concluded.

Becca's former manager Kiki Banson also disclosed at the launch that his outfit "EKB Records traveled to some African countries to search for the next female act to headline this year’s event before finally arriving at the decision of choosing Efya after watching her on stage for over two hours at +233 Jazz Bar and Grill in Accra."

Efya, born Jane Fara Fauzzier Afia Boafowaa Yahaya Awindor is a multiple award-winning Ghanaian singer with over 13 music awards —both local and international. She has performed on big stages both in Ghana and abroad. She is also a former Pulse.com.gh Star Contributor.

This year's event is scheduled for December 18 at the National Theatre in Accra.
