Premier of Uncle Ebo Whyte’s latest play sends audience into a frenzy

Strictly sticking to the schedule as has always been the case, the latest play from the production house started exactly as promised at 6:30 pm on Wednesday, March 22, 2017, at the National Theatre.
Lovers of drama were treated to another masterpiece as Uncle Ebo Whyte’s Roverman Productions once again thrilled audience with the premiere of the play ‘Blackmail’.
Featuring 10 characters, ‘Blackmail’ mixes humour and current relevant issues to tell a story of a tenacious wife, Mama Gifty, who deviates from the stereotypical views of the normal Ghanaian to be different.
The play also tackles Ghanaians ideologies about religious leaders and the reality on the ground.
With a blend of humour, suspense and style, audience present at the National Theatre on Wednesday were served the perfect night.

Impressive scenes from the various actors and actresses of ‘Blackmail’ got the audience laughing off their seats, as a combination of musical acts and choreography sandwiched the drama on stage.
Broadcast journalist Manesseh Azuri Awuni, together with a host of other radio and television personalities, were all present at the premiere of the play.
Roverman Productions – producers of ‘Blackmail’ – announced that the play will be showed on the weekend of March 25 and April 1.
