Elevate Ghana Investor Pitch Competition opens on 16th June

The ‘Shark Tank’ style business pitch competition will feature several Ghanaian start-up and growth stage companies vying for the 10,000GHS valued business services

Ringier Digital Marketing (RDM), a 360 digital marketing agency, CREATE Ghana, TKC Africa, and The Ghana Angel Investor Network (GAIN) in partnership with the Ministry of Trade and Industry (MoTI) have partnered to present the second edition of , an evening of networking, cocktails and live business pitch competition on Thursday, 16th June at the British Council Ghana.

The ‘Shark Tank’ style business pitch competition which launched last year during Global Entrepreneurship Week will feature several Ghanaian start-up and growth stage companies vying for the 10,000GHS valued business services including Digital Marketing and Advertising, Public Relations, Business Consulting, and Radio Air Time from event partners RDM, CREATE Ghana, Pulse.com.gh, and STARR FM.

Participants will also receive expert advice from the distinguished panel of investors including Richard Darkey (former Bank of America Merrill Lynch), Grace Darkwa (Oasis Capital) and Charles Boatin (Adenia Partners) as well as access to GAIN and TKC Africa’s international investor network.

“We are excited to continue to host Elevate Ghana which has evolved into a meaningful platform for entrepreneurs and investors to interact. We have seen that it is creating a space for the broader entrepreneurship community (including business advisors and aspiring entrepreneurs) to convene, ultimately facilitating access to both the financial and human capital required to accelerate the development of small and growing businesses in Ghana,” says Taiwo Ajayi, founder of Create Ghana, a business consulting firm.

Asoriba, a church management web and mobile app emerged as winners at the maiden Elevate Ghana and received media and business services and have since gone on to win Seedstars Africa in Casablanca, Morocco, featured on CNN and accepted to the TechStars Barclays Accelerator in Cape Town.
