Movie awards Full list of winners at 2015 KAFF Awards

The fifth edition of the Kumawood Akoben Film Festival Awards which came off last Saturday saw Kwadwo Nkansah (Liwin) and Emelia Brobbey crowned 2015 most favorite actor and actress respectively.

The colourful event was attended by several stakeholders of the film industry including Kwasi Kyei Darkwah, Van Vicker, Bill Asamoah, Emelia Brobbey and Benedicta Gafah.

Liwin, Kwaku Manu, Akrobeto, Nana Ama Mcbrown, Vivian Jill Lawrence, Rose Mensah (Kyeiwaa), Clara Benson (Maame Serwaa) and Mercy Asiedu were all absent.

Patrons were treated to good musical performances from Nero X and Patience Nyarko.
The event which started around 10.15pm (instead of 7) ended around 2.30am.

Best Film editor – Kenneth Yeboah (Made in Agege)
Discovery of the year – Patricia Nana Asiedua (Ama Pooley)
Best Collaboration (Twi & English) – Broni W’awu
Best Short Film – Death Territory
Promising Star – Adu Safowaa Regina (Woara Woba)
Best Actor Supporting Role (Twi)- Bill Asamoah (Adofo Asa)
Best Actress Supporting Role (Twi)- Bridget Serwaa (Ensi Aga)
Best Actor Lead Role (Frafra) – Zimbabo Yenbila Zimbabo (NyenYura)
Best Actress Lead Role (Frafra) – Lamisi Sis Paulina ( N Beyinga. My only Child)
