Award Scheme Launches As GN Bank People’s Choice Awards
At a press conference to unveil the nominees for the maiden edition of the awards on Thursday 29 January 2015, the Director of the awards and Chief Executive Officer of Spyder Lee Entertainment, Mr. Edwin Edinkrah, revealed the new title of the awards, thus the GN Bank People’s Choice Awards.
Some of the celebrities who got nominations in the awards include Sarkodie, Shatta Wale, Samini, Becca, Efya, Daddy Lumba, James Gardner, Majid Michel, John Dumelo, KSM, Funny Face, Joselyn Dumas, Afia Schwarznegger, Bukom Banku, and Asamoah Gyan. Others are Martha Bissa, Tutulapato, Frankie Taylor, Patrick Osei Agyeman, Bola Ray, Martha Bissah, Kwadwo Nkansah (Lil’ Win) and Kwaku Manu.
Members of the general public from now can vote for their nominated celebrities by texting CH plus their names to the short code 1446 on Vodafone, MTN and Airtel. Deadline for voting is Saturday 14 March 2015 and don’t forget the more you vote, the better your chances of winning in the GN Bank Text And Win Competition.
