Akosua Agyepong shot to fame in the mid-1990s with her elaborate dance moves, lyrics and soothing voice. She released her debut album Frema after which she met Nat Brew and Rex Omar who inspired her to release her subsequent album Kokokoo.

Renowned Ghanaian artiste, Akosua Agyepong climaxed the celebration of her twenty-five years in the music industry with a musical concert last Saturday at the Accra International Conference Centre.

Akosua Agyepong shot to fame in the mid-1990s with her elaborate dance moves, lyrics and soothing voice. She released her debut album Frema after which she met Nat Brew and Rex Omar who inspired her to release her subsequent album Kokokoo. The trio later teamed up to form Nakorex.

The group, however, split after a few years. Akosua continued with her music career as a solo secular artiste and later resurfaced as a gospel artiste.
