Paience Nyarko launches “Wafom Kwan” VCD album

Patience Nyarko has finally launched her 9-track VCD album titled “Wafom Kwan” (You have lost the path). See photos below.

The sassy vocalist took the streets of Accra by storm on Saturday, March 19 to launch her VCD album – the first of its kind in the Ghanaian music industry.

In an exclusive interview with Pulse.com.gh, the “Menwu” hit maker explained why she named the album so and what influenced her decision to launch the album on the streets instead of conforming to the industry’s norm.

“’Wafom Kwan’ is a message God sent me to deliver to his people especially the lost. The message on the album is a warning to them to refrain from all their bad deeds and ask for forgiveness,” she revealed.

“You need to be dynamic and creative in your dealings. So, my management decided to hit the streets to launch the album. This is the first time and I think no (Ghanaian) Gospel artiste has ever done this,” she stated.

The singer further revealed that, it took her one year to work on the entire album. “This album took me one year to complete. I normally release albums in two year intervals,” she told Pulse.com.gh

The VCD album launch set off at the Mallam junction, Accra, took a turn at Kasoa Market and finally ended at Madina, Accra.

Producers on “Wafom Kwan” album include George Forest, Nacee, Roro, and Dan Bassey, and all songs were written by herself.

She sold each album at GHC 5.00 and made over thousands of sales.
